Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WeGoCOD ("we", "us", "our"), a cash-on-delivery (COD) e-commerce operations platform used by businesses in Morocco and Egypt to receive orders, confirm them with customers, and manage delivery. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The Service

WeGoCOD provides a workspace where a business and its agents can import or receive orders, contact customers to confirm them, hand parcels to shipping partners, and follow delivery and returns. Features available to you depend on the plan your workspace is on, and the service evolves over time.

2. Accounts

• You must give accurate account details and keep them up to date.
• You are responsible for your workspace, for every user you invite into it, and for keeping credentials confidential.
• You must have the authority to act for the business you register, and be old enough to enter a contract under the law that applies to you.
• Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.

3. Your Data and Your Customers' Data

The order and customer data in your workspace remains yours. You decide what to collect and why; we process it to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use your customers' personal data, and for honouring their rights over it.

4. WhatsApp and Meta

• You connect your own WhatsApp number and WhatsApp Business Account. It stays yours, and Meta bills you directly for messaging. We do not resell messages.
• Your use of WhatsApp through WeGoCOD must comply with Meta's Platform Terms, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, and any messaging limits Meta applies to your account.
• Meta may restrict, suspend or remove access to its platform independently of us. We cannot guarantee availability of WhatsApp features, and such action by Meta is not a failure of this service.

5. Plans, Billing and Trials

• Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.
• Where a trial is offered, its length and conditions are stated at signup. Cancelling before the trial ends prevents the first charge.
• You may cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access until it is settled.
• Prices may change. We will give notice before a change applies to your next renewal.

6. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, or to send unsolicited or deceptive messages.
• Do not upload customer data you have no right to use, or use another business's data.
• Do not attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the platform or to other workspaces.
• Do not resell or provide the service to third parties as if it were your own, without our written agreement.

7. Third-Party Services

The platform connects to services we do not control, including shipping and courier partners, Meta/WhatsApp, payment providers and sheet or store integrations you choose to enable. Their own terms apply to you, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions, pricing, or for parcels once handed to a carrier.

8. Availability and Changes

We work to keep the service available and to warn of planned maintenance where we can, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change or withdraw features; where a change materially reduces what your plan provides, we will give reasonable notice.

9. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the service and close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are breached, if payment fails, if required by law, or if continued use would put our platform or a third-party platform at risk. After termination, we retain and delete data as described in the Privacy Policy; you may request an export or deletion of your data before closing.

10. Liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or loss of data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, and the courts of Morocco have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
